Give Me 10 Minutes/Day and I Will Help Your Kid Become The Best Stickhandler On Their Team In Just 2 Weeks!

Okay, you’re right. There’s no way I can guarantee your kid will become the best stickhandler on their team in two weeks. I don’t know where they’re starting, and I definitely don’t know how good their teammates are.

But here’s what I can tell you: give me 10 focused minutes a day for two weeks, and I’m very confident they’ll become a noticeably better, quicker, and more confident stickhandler.

And that confidence can change the way they experience hockey.

Imagine watching your kid actually want the puck on their stick. Trying moves they used to be afraid to try. Making more plays. Coming off the ice smiling because they felt good about how they played.

Because at the end of the day, getting better at hockey makes hockey more fun.

That’s exactly why I created the 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge.

Here's the story:

Growing up, I had some decent skills with the puck, but I was never one of the best on my team.

The problem was, I never really trained my hands outside of practice.

Sure, I messed around while shooting pucks in the driveway, but there was no rhyme or reason to what I was doing. I was just playing around with the puck.

This was the early 2000s. There were no training apps, follow-along videos, or coaches showing you exactly what to work on from your phone.

If you wanted extra hockey training, your parents usually had to spend a few hundred bucks on a camp.

Those camps helped, but you were sharing the ice with a bunch of other players, working on all kinds of different skills, and only getting so many puck touches.

So year after year, my stickhandling improved... but never nearly as much as it could have.

Then This Happened:

Covid hit, and with the rinks being closed here in Canada, I decided to set up a "dangle room" in my basement - an area where I could work on my stickhandling.

I messed around for what seemed like hours each day to devise drills that I could do with limited space and equipment to improve my hands. Within a few days, I was stickhandling faster and felt more comfortable with the puck.

(Looking back at the first videos I made doing stickhandling drills, my skills are night and day compared to back then.)

I knew kids worldwide were without access to ice and missing hockey, so I created an app called Hockey Training TV where I could run players through stickhandling training sessions from home.

With just a stick and puck, players can download the app to their phone or tablet and be coached by me through stickhandling training sessions from their driveway, garage, basement, or even bedroom (if mom will allow that haha).

Now it has grown to become the number one hockey training app out there, with a 4.9 out of 5 star rating across 100+ reviews in the App Store.

Including this review from Andree258:

"This app is nothing short of amazing. I have improved do much with this app and all of the things that the hockeytraining community and programs offer. Thank you so much!"

I’m obviously no NHL superstar, but stickhandling has become one of the strongest parts of my game.

And a huge reason for that is the amount of focused work I’ve done off the ice.

Here's The Cool Part:

I saw massive improvements as a 30-year-old who had already spent thousands of hours playing hockey.

So imagine the improvements a younger player can make when they’re still developing those skills.

That’s why I created the 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge inside our app.

For just 10 minutes a day, I’ll guide your kid through fun, creative stickhandling sessions designed to improve their puck control, hand speed, and confidence.

If your kid loves hockey and commits to the challenge for two weeks, there’s no doubt in my mind they’re going to come out of it with noticeably better hands.

Hockey Stickhandling Classes

I keep the training sessions fun, creative, and effective, so if your kid loves hockey, I’m confident they’ll enjoy putting in the 10 minutes a day. Stick with it for two weeks, and they can make a huge jump in their stickhandling skills.

Now, obviously I created this program, so you don’t have to take my word for it...

A Simple Way To Help Your Kid Keep Getting Better

Helping hockey players improve their skills and become more confident with the puck is a huge part of why I built Hockey Training TV in the first place.

And if your kid loves hockey and wants to get better, I want to make it as easy as possible for them to actually put in that extra work.

The reality is, getting extra skill development isn't always easy.

Extra ice is expensive. Private lessons can easily cost $50–$100+ per session. And even during team practices, there are only so many puck touches to go around.

That's what makes training at home so valuable.

With just a stick, a puck or ball, and a little bit of space, your player can get hundreds of extra touches in a short amount of time.

So instead of selling the 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge on its own, we've included it inside Hockey Training TV along with everything else we've built to help players improve from home.

When you join, your player gets access to:

The 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge
Follow along with me for 10 minutes a day through 14 fun, focused stickhandling sessions designed to build quicker hands, better puck control, and more confidence.
Simple, Done-For-You Training Plan
Your player gets a clear daily schedule and printable tracker, so they always know exactly what to work on.
85+ On-Demand Stickhandling Sessions
A full library of follow-along sessions for different skill levels and training goals, so there’s always something new to work on.
Shooting, Speed, Agility, and Conditioning Workouts
Your player can also work on their shot, speed, athleticism, and conditioning with coach-led sessions they can do from home.
Hockey Training TV App
Everything is easy to access on iOS, Android, or desktop, so your player can train whenever it works for them.

You can give your player full access to Hockey Training TV for the next 7 days and let them actually try the training before you decide if it's worth keeping.

Have them start the Stickhandling Challenge, try a shooting session, explore the workouts, and see if they enjoy it.

If they do, your membership continues for $19.99/month.

If it's not for them, cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.

No pressure. I’d much rather you see whether your kid actually enjoys using it first.

If you've got a hockey-loving kid who is always looking for ways to get better, I think they're going to have a lot of fun with this.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Equipment Do We Need?

All you need is a hockey stick and a puck (or ball) that glides well on your chosen surface.

For concrete, asphalt, or indoor flooring, we recommend a Green Biscuit puck.
If you’re using synthetic ice or a stickhandling mat, go with a real puck or a HockeyShot Dangle Puck for the best feel.

What Age Group Is This Challenge Suitable For?

The 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge is great for hockey players of all ages.

We’ve had players as young as 6 enjoy and complete the training, but most athletes using the program are ages 8 and up.

If your child is on the younger side, you’ll also get access to a smaller challenge designed specifically for ages 5–10, where I slow things down and make it easier for beginners to follow along and build confidence.

No matter your child’s age or experience level, we have training designed to improve puck skills, boost confidence, and help them feel more in control on the ice.

What Skills Level Is This Challenge Designed For?

The 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge works for a wide range of skill levels, from newer players to advanced players.

Each drill can be adjusted by changing the speed, difficulty, and how often the player needs to look down at the puck. Newer players can slow things down and focus on control, while more advanced players can push the pace and challenge themselves to keep their head up.

For younger players, especially ages under 10, we also have a separate library of kid-friendly training videos designed specifically for their age and ability level. You’ll get access to those too, so they can start with whichever training feels like the best fit.

The most important thing is that your player enjoys the training, feels successful, and keeps wanting to come back and work on their skills.

Is There A Time Limit On Completing The Challenge?

Nope. Your player can start the 2-Week Stickhandling Challenge whenever they’re ready and complete it at their own pace.

There’s no requirement to finish it in exactly 14 days. As long as your Hockey Training TV subscription is active, they’ll have access to the full challenge and the rest of the training library.

Can My Kid Do More Than 10 Minutes Per Day?

Yes, we include instructions on how to bump it up to 20+ minutes per day if they are extremely motivated or just enjoying the training sessions.

With access to 21 different stickhandling sessions your kid will be able to perform as much training as they like!

What If My Kid Doesn't Enjoy The Training?

That’s exactly why we offer a 7-day free trial.

Let your player try the Stickhandling Challenge, explore the training library, and see if it’s something they actually enjoy using.

If it’s not a good fit, just cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
